Pursuing Sustainability - 8.20.18
Sustainable architecture and construction is not only environmentally friendly, but quickly becoming the best economic alternative as well. The home above, designed by Allen-Guerra Architects, is an example of sustainable design, an efficient footprint, passive solar benefits, high-efficiency heating systems, and the use of an active Solar Photovoltaic (PV) system. Energy costs remain high, but many of our clients offset these costs and experience long-term gains through the pursuit of energy efficiency. We are working this year on multiple Solar PV systems and also the possibility of incorporating geothermal heating into a home.
We encourage new clients to consider the growing list of benefits tied to environmental sustainability.
