For this family, Summit County has always been home in spirit. As Colorado natives who grew up skiing, they dreamed of creating a place where weekends would slow down, family would gather, and memories would be made for generations. When they discovered this home in Keystone Ranch, they knew they had found something special. Tucked beside the national forest with sweeping mountain views and a sense of quiet that is increasingly rare, it offered everything they had hoped for—except a home that reflected the way they wanted to live.
Their vision wasn't to create a modern showpiece, but a warm mountain retreat that felt authentic, welcoming, and deeply personal. Every decision was made with family in mind, from spaces that encourage time together to thoughtful details for the dogs who are just as much a part of the family. Today, the home feels like a true sanctuary—a place where the boundaries between indoors and outdoors disappear, weekends turn into traditions, and every visit feels like coming home

We were given a 12 to 15 month range to get the project done and we were done in 12 months. As with any remodel, you’re met with some challenges.
